Some quick kitchen efficiency facts:

Use pots and pans that are the same size as your cooktop range burner to maximize efficiency and prevent energy waste.
When you can, prepare several dishes in the oven at the same time to cut down on energy use (and time!).
Don’t peek! Opening the oven door before cooking is done lowers the inside temperature and means your oven must work to regain it. Your oven light is far more efficient.
